Located in the southwest of Guangdong province and the north of Leizhou Peninsula, Lianjiang is faced with Beibu Gulf in the southwest, with 48 kilometers to the north of Zhanjiang. As a transportation juncture of Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan, it is a must-passed place if you set sail in Zhangjiang Port from Southwest China. Sharing border with southwestern Guangzi, Lianjiang is the bridge and window for Guangdong's entry into the Economic Zone of China's Beibu Gulf Rim, and being the important region for the cooperation among Economic Zone of China's Beibu Gulf Rim, the Pan Pearl River Delta and other regions.
