The total area of Lin’an City is 3124 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over five sub-districts, 13 towns, a total of 11 neighborhood committees and 287 administrative villages, the number of household registration residents reached 0.527 million. Qingshan Lake Science City completed the industrial layout and control planning, forming a “4+2”industry positioning. Some projects such as the Urban Complex, the international creative park have been started to build, 14 projects of institutes start to construct. Further promoted the Co-ordination development of urban and rural areas and the implementation of four major projects, created 18 boutique and characteristic villages, 10 beautiful countryside villages 1 style town and built 65 rural area community service centers throughout the year. The city has been awarded as the national forest city, the National Environmental Protection Model City, the national ecological city, became the nation’s first ecological pilot city and the first carbon sink forestry pilot area, the ecological construction work is in the forefront of the country. In 2011, the GDP of the city was 34.076 billion yuan, up by 10.6%; the total fiscal revenue was 3.923 billion yuan, in which the local fiscal revenue was 2.11 billion yuan, increased by 30.3%, 24.4%, respectively.
