Jixi, where sun rises the earliest in our country, is a wonderful place full of special tourist resources, just like the ice, the lake, the wetland and the tumulus relics in forests. There is Guandi Temple in Hutou, which has gone through hundreds of years and is regarded as the No.1 temple in the East. There is Yueya Lake, which is praised as the most fantastic view in the East as thousands hectares of wild lotus. There is Qilin Mountain with peculiar ranges and beautiful landscape. There are Wolong Lake, Hada Lake, Baleng Mountain, Phoenix Mountain Forest Park and Great North Calligraphy Gallery which combine natural sceneries with humane cultures. There are ancient city of Liao and Jin Dynasties and Sino-Russian borderline along the river of 631 kilometers long. There are Mishan and Ji Xiang, two first-class national land ports.

As it is far away from the noisy metropolis, Jixi City is proud of its fresh air, unpolluted water and peace environment. Because Jixi is close to Sea of Japan, its weather is affected and coordinated by the marine climate.
