Kunshan Overview
Kunshan is located in the Yangtze River Delta, which is the most economically developed area in China. With Shanghai on the east and Suzhou on the west, it is the gateway of Jiangsu Province in the east. In 1989, Kunshan was established as a city. Covering a land mass of 927.68 square kilometers, Kunshan manages a registered population of 680,000, one state-level economic and technological development zone, three provincial-level development zones and ten administrative towns.
